Distressed kitten found dumped in family’s garden just as their soul cat crosses rainbow bridge, providing comfort and cuddles in heartbreaking time of need, mom says: ‘Jinu is such a sweet girl, she knew we needed her and I will forever be thankful.’

The Cat Distribution System works in mysterious ways but what it always knows to do is to deliver its felines to their new hoomans at the purrfect moment. Which is exactly what happened to the family in this story who were gifted a kitten by the CDS just as their soul cat began to cross the rainbow bridge.

It is never easy losing a cat. No less if the cat happened to be your soul cat, beloved by all members of the family. But it is an unfortunate reality we have to live with, but one that has just as much upside as it does down. Especially when the CDS is on your side and ready to help fill the void with a cute kitten.

Now, sure, this family did not know that they were about to lose the cat who had been a big part of raising their children and making their house a home. But that is just how the CDS works, they know how to spot a potential problem and get ahead of it before it is too late. And it was with impeccable timing that the CDS brought this kitten so that it would be settled and ready to support its new family through such a tough time in their lives.

  • Wait what? What wonderful Snow White world are these people living in that they have a cute kitten come waltzing over to them from their firepit in their garden. Even in the most ‘common’ cases of the Cat Distribution System, cats usually emerge from dangerous or disgusting places like trash cans and car engines. Requiring effort, patience and a good clean up to get to them. Perhaps this kitten was informed of how prepawed this couple was to receive a cat into their lives and so it did not need to play hard to get. That’s the only explanation we can come up with as to how this happened so smoothly.

  • Ah jheez, what a flip of the script. To go from bringing in a delightful kitten into the family, to then find out that your soul cat is on their way out of the family. That is enough to make even the most prepawed of pawrents’ heads spin. No less when you have kids involved who are attached to the feline family member and who will be even more disoriented by the dramatically and dynamically changing events. But if any pawrents were going to be able to manage such a tough transition it seems to be that these guys would be the ones.
